I had faith in the Mets and I had faith in my advisors. I knew it could get done. Once you're assured of that, it's no big deal being patient.

The biggest adjustment is that guys up here have a plan. Guys in college just go up there and swing. Most guys in college just sit on the fastball. I threw some good pitches. I feel like I'm progressing right where I need to be.

It's great for them. I want to wish them the best.

The strike zone can be a little small some days. You have to adjust. I didn't do a good job adjusting today.

I've thought about it. It's going to be a challenge coming from the flatlands to the city, but it's definitely something I can adjust to. I'm looking forward to it.

My only concern is to go out and improve every day as a player. I'm positive the Mets will let me know when I'm ready.

I saw him the other day, he was working out.

I threw him all fastballs away, but I just kept missing. I just didn't hit the spot. I still have a lot to learn.

He's been great to be around. But it still seems a little funny.
